ESC is staffed by experienced and licensed high school teachers who are proficient in preparing students to excel on the ACT.
The ACT Preparation Course reviews basic mathematical concepts in arithmetic, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry and trigonometry. The course provides an extensive review of usage, grammar, and essay writing as well as reading, interpreting data and drawing scientific conclusions in various fields of science. Three complete exams, including the essay, are assigned and scored.
Knowing how to take a test is almost as important as mastery of the subject matter. Our course provides students with test-taking techniques that give them self-confidence and the ability to take the test in a more relaxed and assured manner.
ACT PREP COURSE BASICS:
ESC Group Locations - 8 sessions, three hours per session (9 hours of English, 9 hours of Math, and 6 hours of Science). Class size average: 10-19 students.

MAKE-UPS:
A student may make up an absence through ESC's online option.
LIVE ONLINE FORUM:
Students may receive some extra help by calling ESC to schedule an appointment with their instructor before or after class.
SCHEDULE CHANGES & WEATHER-RELATED CLOSINGS:
It is the student's responsibility to check our website's alerts section for any cancellations or change in schedule due to weather-related closings. No calls will be made from our office. You may also Follow ESC on Twitter for all updates, schedule changes, and weather-related closings.
ACT EXAM:
It is the sole responsibility of the student and his/her family to register for the ACT test. You may do so by contacting your guidance counselor or going to their web site at www.act.org. You should register at least eight weeks before the exam date.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY:
Cancellations will be accepted and tuition refunded before the first class begins, minus a $30 cancellation fee. No refunds are given for cancellations once the first class has occurred. However, a credit will be issued for a future course if we are notified within a week of the last class attended.
