More than a score
Since the inception of the SAT almost 100 years ago, test scores have been a strong determinant of college admission. Over the past decade, about 80% of all U.S. colleges have adopted a ‘test-optional’ policy, in an attempt to more holistically assess student achievement and merit. Despite the lack of requirement, most students who apply to competitive test-optional schools will submit SAT or ACT scores. Not surprisingly, students with impressive scores are accepted at significantly higher rates over those who do not submit.
Although test-optional schools will make an honest effort to evaluate the whole student, a strong test score will ALWAYS give you an advantage over in the college admissions process. Selective colleges will still only accept a small percentage of applicants; the more information they have about your academic strength, the better. To that end, our course rigorously prepares students for the PSAT/ SAT and ACT.

Classes are kept small to allow for individualized, targeted instruction. Registrations are accepted until a group is filled. (You may always call our office and add your name to the waitlist if registration has closed.)
Risk-free Refund Policy
Tuition is refundable until the start date of the course (minus $10 processing fee). Although we cannot issue refunds after the first class occurs, we offer flexibility with postponement to the next semester should withdrawal from the course become necessary after the start date.

Hardship should never stand in the way of a students’ opportunity to prepare well for college entrance exams. Our course fee is one of the most competitive in the market, and for students with hardship (receiving state aid/ eligible for reduced priced school lunch), we offer the course at a significantly reduced fee of $197.50. The process is simple, just ask your guidance counselor to send an email to our office info@esctestprep.com confirming that you are eligible for this discount, and call our office to register at the reduced fee: 609-953-4001.
About the PSAT
The Preliminary SAT, also known as the PSAT/NMSQT® (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test), is a preparatory version of the SAT exam. It is essentially the same length and content as the SAT.
Functionally, the tests are different in that SAT is used for college admissions, which the PSAT is not. And the PSAT can be used to put a student in the running for a National Merit scholarship, whereas the SAT does not.
Virtual Course Option
We primarily offer in-person courses, but we do have an online option. Our classes via Zoom are personal, dynamic, interactive, and limited in class size just as in the physical classroom. Students enrolled in an in-person class are welcome to switch to class online, as needed, throughout the term.
Your Score Goals
Students who engage in each session and complete all assignments typically increase 100-150 points on the SAT and 3-4 points on the ACT. Students who fall short of their score goal, or simply feel they could use a refresher before their next exam, may return for additional practice test and review sessions at no additional cost.
